We’ll be heading up the Calder, looking to strike gold with our brand of protest punk in Bendigo-go! We’re launching our debut long player, “Fight The Good Fight” and we’ll be playing the album in full and in album track listing order! This means less played tracks, the reggae infused “Mr. Mean” and guitar and vocal only ballad, “When I Was Seventeen”, will be given a long overdue airing. A new song or two will debut and we’ll round out the set will be a couple of the our cover songs.
Can I get a “hell yeah!”?
We’ll have limited stocks of T-shirts, but plenty of stickers, buttons and CDs available at the gig, or you pre-order now from www.theonetwospunk.com
Playing Times are:
9:00 – 9:40 Steph Bitter
9:45 – 10:30 The Bridesmaid
10:45 – 11:30 The One Twos
Opening the night will be Steph Bitter. Steph has grown from a shy young girl who loved to write stories into a passionate and intelligent singer/songwriter. Her hauntingly honest songwriting showcases her raw ability to make the best of her experiences with authenticity and integrity, leaving her audiences nothing short of inspired. Quality way to start the night!
Next up is a gathering of well known local musicians; one might throw the term ‘super group’ about! The musical guise for the power pop compositions of Four Lions guitarist Keith MacQueen, The Bridesmaid are back for one of their rare live performances. We’re wrapped to be able to share a stage with these guys!
Roll up early and enjoy a the hearty pub grub and selection of brews on tap. I’d be booking a table!
Catch The One Twos grumbling and bellyaching about the general state of things through their all swagger, no frills punk music at the Fight The Good Fight launches.
